Frozen Pond

I have a notebook that I write my ideas for stock photography shoots. It has a lot of random words or sentences that I jot down whenever an idea comes to me. I have checked a few off that list recently. Gentleman Barbers... check. Hot Fuzz.. check.

Where the Ground meets the Sky

The Canadian Rocky Mountains are only an hour or so from my home here in Alberta. I definitely do not take advantage of how close they are. That needs to change. And yes.. I say that all the time.

I booked a heli tour with my friend & fellow photographer, Cody Priebe, to shoot some aerial shots of the mountains that I have observed at a distance my entire life.

Christie & Derrick - A Palm Springs Wedding

I received an unexpected call from one of my oldest friends, Derrick. He was tying the knot and due to unforeseen circumstances he and his fiancée, Christie, were without a photographer only a few months before their wedding.

Gentlemen's Finest Groomers

Those who know me can tell you that I definitely fancy yesteryear. I sometimes think I might of been born a century too late.

That is why I was thrilled to leave my stylist in a hair salon for a traditional barber at Chinwhiskey Shearing & Shaving Co. here in Calgary, Alberta. For a dapper gent there isn‘t a salon that can top the experience of sitting in a 1920‘s antique barbers chair and the quality of a classic haircut & straight razor shave.
