A couple of weeks ago my photo pal, Curtis Gee, and I heading into the nearby Rocky Mountains for a hike up to Paget Peak. This was just on the west side of the continental divide in beautiful British Columbia. It is a pretty short hike (1 1/2 hours up & 45 minutes down) and at the top is an old decommissioned fire lookout.
In addition to an iPhone I brought along a Fuji Instax Mini 90, Leica M2 and my Rolleiflex 3.5F.
I don't think I would haul the same gear hiking because this combo made for a pretty heavy bag compared to just going with my Fuji X-T1 & a few lenses... must be something about cameras made out of brass.
Here are some of my shots made with the Rolleiflex 3.5F with Kodak Portra 400 and Kodak Ektar 100. Home developed and scanned. Hopefully you all get the opportunity this summer to walk up the side of a mountain as well. I highly recommend it...
