I set my alarm for a ridiculous time. When I looked out the window I was stoked to see a thick fog covering my neighbourhood. An initial plan to capture the sunrise over the downtown of Calgary changed for the better.
I live in the far suburbs and it was possible that it is foggy here but clear in the downtown core. As I made my way into the downtown the fog became thicker still.
I parked across from a construction site where the cranes were barely visible. I loaded a roll of Kodak Porta 400 into my Leica M3, took a baseline meter reading with a handheld meter and started walking. Constantly looking up.
